Before Sophia Ruffin was formed in her mother’s womb, God knew and approved of her and before she was born He separated her and set her apart, consecrating her and appointing her a prophet to the nations. A seed was planted from the beginning and even now, the seed of this scripture has sprouted within her. This scripture is the spermatic word from Heaven; which has made contact with her womb and impregnated her into Divine Destiny. 

 

Sophia grew up in Chicago Heights, IL and for years she wondered in the wilderness without a purpose. She tried to find her identity in the earth realm by seeking after the things of this world, only to find vanity. In spite of her ignorance, God had a plan for her life. She was a High School basketball star, with multiple accolades for her athletic ability. Sophia utilized her natural abilities of playing basketball, and earned a scholarship & continued on the Collegiate Level. She graduated from the University of Missouri St. Louis, with her B.S. in Criminal Justice. Educated and on the pursuit of continuing her basketball career, she was given options to pursue International Basketball or try-out for the WNBA. 

 

She pursed the challenge of playing basketball professionally by entering a season of preparation; which required 4:00 a.m. workouts, lifting, running, conditioning, training and preparation. Unaware of all the preparation for the WNBA try-out, that was God’s way of preparing her to seek the Kingdom of Heaven with great intensity. God had a plan for her life, it was preordained before the foundation of the world, and it can’t be altered or reversed. From that point on God’s mandate for her life caused her to emigrate from an athletic focus to a Kingdom focus. God’s eruption caused her spirit to burst forth and conceive the seed that was planted before the foundation of the world. 

 

God has gifted her with the ability to spread an epidemic by bringing the Kingdom from behind the four walls of the church, and has positioned her to impact the Kingdom. She enjoys edifying, and encouraging the body that there is a place in God that shakes the kingdom of darkness and unleashes the Power of God.
